There seems to be a bit of significance that in the midst of one of the more challenging seasons many of us have ever faced, we also are in the midst of the most important week of the Christian faith: the remembrance and observance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. This is certainly not the way we would have predicted this year to look, but we believe that nothing is outside of the sovereign care and awareness of God. In the midst of any sadness, angst, uncertainty we inevitably feel, we worship a risen and reigning king who comforts us with his promises and his presence. Praise him!
Below are a few of the things that as a church we are hoping to provide and accomplish this week leading up to Easter:
- #JesusChangedMyLife Stories. We are asking that you upload a 2-3 minute video to your personal social media account of how Jesus has changed your life. Rather than each of us inviting one person to an Easter service, we could each proclaim the gospel to hundreds of non-Christian friends and co-workers and invite them to join our local churches with their online Easter services. For some tips and direction on how to accomplish this, read this article: Share Your #JesusChangedMyLife Story.
- Virtual Prayer Gathering. We are “coming together” as a church on Friday night at 7:30 to pray for one another, for our neighbors, and for the salvation of those who will hear the Gospel proclaimed through an online message this weekend. There will also be time committed to praying for the eradication of this illness and for the strengthening of the church in the midst of COVID-19. To be part of this with us, get Zoom. On Wednesday, we will send an email out to our folks with information on how to access the live meeting on Friday. If you are not signed up to receive emails from Grace Harbor: subscribe here. If you need any tech help on this, please contact Nathan.
- Family Easter Buckets. Buckets will be delivered to the porch of families before Friday of this week. If you are not a regular attender of Grace Harbor and would like an Easter Bucket, simply fill out this form:
- Join us on Sunday! We will provide a pre-recorded sermon and kids message for Easter Sunday. Prepare your hearts, your time, and even your home now to be fully engaged to the content we provide on Sunday!
